public final class JavaBeanLongProperty extends LongProperty implements JavaBeanProperty<java.lang.Number>
JavaBeanLongProperty
provides an adapter between a regular
Java Bean property of type long
or Long
and a JavaFX
LongProperty
. It cannot be created directly, but a
JavaBeanLongPropertyBuilder
has to be used.
As a minimum, the Java Bean must implement a getter and a setter for the
property. If the getter of an instance of this class is called, the property of
the Java Bean is returned. If the setter is called, the value will be passed
to the Java Bean property. If the Java Bean property is bound (i.e. it supports
PropertyChangeListeners), this JavaBeanLongProperty
will be
aware of changes in the Java Bean. Otherwise it can be notified about
changes by calling fireValueChangedEvent()
. If the Java Bean property
is also constrained (i.e. it supports VetoableChangeListeners), this
JavaBeanLongProperty
will reject changes, if it is bound to an
ObservableValue<Long>
.

Modifier and Type | Method and Description |
---|---|
void |
addListener(ChangeListener<? super java.lang.Number> listener)
Adds a
ChangeListener which will be notified whenever the value
of the ObservableValue changes. |
void |
addListener(InvalidationListener listener)
Adds an
InvalidationListener which will be notified whenever the
Observable becomes invalid. |
void |
bind(ObservableValue<? extends java.lang.Number> observable)
Create a unidirection binding for this
Property . |
void |
dispose()
Signals to the JavaFX property that it will not be used anymore and any
references can be removed.
|
protected void |
finalize() |
void |
fireValueChangedEvent()
This method can be called to notify the adapter of a change of the Java
Bean value, if the Java Bean property is not bound (i.e.
|
long |
get()
Get the wrapped value.
|
java.lang.Object |
getBean()
Returns the
Object that contains this property. |
java.lang.String |
getName()
Returns the name of this property.
|
boolean |
isBound()
Can be used to check, if a
Property is bound. |
void |
removeListener(ChangeListener<? super java.lang.Number> listener)
Removes the given listener from the list of listeners, that are notified
whenever the value of the
ObservableValue changes. |
void |
removeListener(InvalidationListener listener)
Removes the given listener from the list of listeners, that are notified
whenever the value of the
Observable becomes invalid. |
void |
set(long value)
Set the wrapped value.
|
java.lang.String |
toString()
Returns a string representation of this
JavaBeanLongProperty object. |

Remove the unidirectional binding for this
Property . |

public void addListener(ChangeListener<? super java.lang.Number> listener)
ChangeListener
which will be notified whenever the value
of the ObservableValue
changes. If the same listener is added
more than once, then it will be notified more than once. That is, no
check is made to ensure uniqueness.
Note that the same actual ChangeListener
instance may be safely
registered for different ObservableValues
.
The ObservableValue
stores a strong reference to the listener
which will prevent the listener from being garbage collected and may
result in a memory leak. It is recommended to either unregister a
listener by calling removeListener
after use or to use an instance of
WeakChangeListener
avoid this situation.
addListener
in interface ObservableValue<java.lang.Number>
listener
- The listener to registerObservableValue.removeListener(ChangeListener)
public void removeListener(ChangeListener<? super java.lang.Number> listener)
ObservableValue
changes.
If the given listener has not been previously registered (i.e. it was never added) then this method call is a no-op. If it had been previously added then it will be removed. If it had been added more than once, then only the first occurrence will be removed.
removeListener
in interface ObservableValue<java.lang.Number>
listener
- The listener to removeObservableValue.addListener(ChangeListener)
public void addListener(InvalidationListener listener)
InvalidationListener
which will be notified whenever the
Observable
becomes invalid. If the same
listener is added more than once, then it will be notified more than
once. That is, no check is made to ensure uniqueness.
Note that the same actual InvalidationListener
instance may be
safely registered for different Observables
.
The Observable

which will prevent the listener from being garbage collected and may
result in a memory leak. It is recommended to either unregister a
listener by calling removeListener
after use or to use an instance of
WeakInvalidationListener

- The listener to registerObservable.removeListener(InvalidationListener)
