Django поставляется с высокоуровневым фреймворком для генерации лент агрегации, который упрощает создание лент RSS и Atom.

Для создания любой ленты агрегации вам нужно написать короткий класс Python. Вы можете создавать любое количество лент.

Django также поставляется с низкоуровневым API для генерации лент. Используйте его, если хотите генерировать ленты вне веб-контекста или каким-либо другим низкоуровневым способом.

Высокоуровневый фреймворк для генерации лент предоставляется классом Feed. Для создания ленты напишите класс Feed и укажите экземпляр этого класса в вашем URLconf.

Feed классы

Класс Feed — это класс Python, представляющий ленту агрегации. Лента может быть простой (например, лента «новостей сайта» или базовая лента, отображающая последние записи блога) или более сложной (например, лента, отображающая все записи блога в определённой категории, где категория может изменяться).

Классы лент наследуются от django.contrib.syndication.views.Feed. Они могут находиться в любом месте вашей кодовой базы.

Простой пример

Осталось одно действие. В ленте RSS каждый <item> имеет <title>, <link> и <description>. Нам нужно указать фреймворку, какие данные поместить в эти элементы.

  • Для содержимого <title> и <description> Django пытается вызвать методы item_title() и item_description() в классе Feed. Им передаётся один параметр item, который представляет собой сам объект. Эти методы необязательны; по умолчанию используется строковое представление объекта для обоих.

    Если вам нужно выполнить форматирование заголовка или описания, можно использовать шаблоны Django. Их пути можно указать атрибутами title_template и description_template в классе Feed. Шаблоны будут рендериться для каждого элемента и получат две переменные контекста шаблона:

    • {{ obj }} – текущий объект (один из объектов, которые вы вернули в items()).

    Feed.get_context_data(**kwargs)

    Также существует способ передать дополнительную информацию в шаблоны заголовка и описания, если вам нужно предоставить больше, чем две указанные выше переменные. Вы можете реализовать метод get_context_data в подклассе Feed. Например:

    Поведение метода get_context_data() аналогично поведению обобщённых представлений — вы должны вызвать метод super() для получения данных контекста из родительского класса, добавить свои данные и вернуть изменённый словарь.

  • Для указания содержимого <link> у вас есть два варианта. Для каждого элемента в items() Django сначала пытается вызвать метод item_link() в классе Feed. Аналогично заголовку и описанию, ему передаётся один параметр item. Если этот метод не существует, Django пытается выполнить метод get_absolute_url() для этого объекта. Оба метода get_absolute_url() и item_link() должны возвращать URL элемента в виде обычной Python-строки. Как и в случае с get_absolute_url(), результат item_link() будет включён непосредственно в URL, поэтому вы несёте ответственность за выполнение всех необходимых операций с кодированием URL и преобразования в ASCII в самом методе.

Сложный пример

Фреймворк также поддерживает более сложные ленты с помощью аргументов.

Например, веб-сайт может предложить ленту RSS с недавними преступлениями для каждой зоны в городе. Создавать отдельный класс Feed для каждой зоны было бы неразумно; это нарушало бы принцип DRY и связывало бы данные с логикой программирования. Вместо этого фреймворк для лент агрегации позволяет вам получать доступ к аргументам, переданным из URLconf, чтобы ленты могли выводить элементы на основе информации в URL ленты.

Ленты для полицейских участков могли бы быть доступны по таким URL-адресам:

Указание типа ленты

По умолчанию ленты, создаваемые в этом фреймворке, используют RSS 2.0.

Язык

Создаваемые с помощью фреймворка для агрегации каналы автоматически включают соответствующий тег <language> (RSS 2.0) или атрибут xml:lang (Atom). Это значение берётся непосредственно из вашего параметра LANGUAGE_CODE.

URL

Метод/атрибут link может возвращать либо абсолютный путь (например, "/blog/") или URL с полным доменным именем и протоколом (например, "https://www.example.com/blog/"). Если link не возвращает домен, фреймворк для агрегации каналов вставит домен текущего сайта в соответствии с настройкой SITE_ID setting.

Для Atom-каналов требуется <link rel="self">, определяющий текущее расположение канала. Фреймворк для агрегации каналов автоматически заполняет его, используя домен текущего сайта в соответствии с настройкой SITE_ID.

Публикация Atom и RSS каналов совместно

Некоторые разработчики предпочитают предоставлять как Atom, так и RSS версии своих каналов. В Django это легко сделать: просто создайте подкласс своего класса Feed и установите feed_type на другое значение. Затем обновите ваш URLconf, чтобы добавить дополнительные версии.

За кулисами высокоуровневый фреймворк для RSS использует низкоуровневый фреймворк для генерации XML-каналов. Этот фреймворк находится в одном модуле: django/utils/feedgenerator.py.

Вы можете использовать этот фреймворк самостоятельно для генерации каналов на более низком уровне. Вы также можете создавать пользовательские подклассы генераторов каналов для использования с опцией feed_type Feed.

SyndicationFeed Классы

Модуль feedgenerator содержит базовый класс:

  • django.utils.feedgenerator.SyndicationFeed

и несколько подклассов:

  • django.utils.feedgenerator.RssUserland091Feed
  • django.utils.feedgenerator.Rss201rev2Feed
  • django.utils.feedgenerator.Atom1Feed

Каждый из этих трёх классов знает, как отобразить определённый тип канала в формате XML. Они используют общий интерфейс:

SyndicationFeed.__init__()

Инициализирует канал с заданным словарем метаданных, который применяется ко всему каналу. Обязательные ключевые параметры:

  • title
  • link
  • description

Также есть множество других необязательных ключевых параметров:

  • language
  • author_email
  • author_name
  • author_link
  • subtitle
  • categories
  • feed_url
  • feed_copyright
  • feed_guid
  • ttl

Любые дополнительные ключевые параметры, которые вы передадите __init__, будут сохранены в self.feed для использования с пользовательскими генераторами каналов.

Все параметры должны быть строками, за исключением categories, которое должно быть последовательностью строк. Обратите внимание, что некоторые управляющие символы не разрешены в XML-документах. Если ваш контент содержит некоторые из них, вы можете столкнуться с ValueError при создании канала.

SyndicationFeed.add_item()

Добавляет элемент в канал с заданными параметрами.

  • comments
  • unique_id
  • enclosures
  • categories

Дополнительные ключевые параметры будут сохранены для пользовательских генераторов каналов.

Все параметры, если заданы, должны быть строками, за исключением:

  • pubdate должно быть объектом Python datetime.
  • updateddate должно быть объектом Python datetime.
  • enclosures должно быть списком экземпляров django.utils.feedgenerator.Enclosure.
  • categories должна быть последовательностью строк.
SyndicationFeed.write()
Выводит канал в указанной кодировке в outfile, который является объектом типа «подобного файлу».
SyndicationFeed.writeString()
Возвращает канал в виде строки в заданной кодировке.

Например, для создания Atom 1.0 канала и вывода его в стандартный вывод:

Пользовательские генераторы каналов

Если вам нужно создать канал в пользовательском формате, у вас есть несколько вариантов.

Если формат канала полностью пользовательский, вам нужно будет унаследовать от SyndicationFeed и полностью заменить методы write() и writeString().

Однако, если формат канала — это производный от RSS или Atom (например, GeoRSS, формат подкастов Apple iTunes podcast format и т. д.), у вас есть лучший вариант. Такие типы каналов обычно добавляют дополнительные элементы и/или атрибуты к основному формату, и есть набор методов, которые SyndicationFeed вызывает, чтобы получить эти дополнительные атрибуты. Таким образом, вы можете унаследовать от соответствующего класса генератора каналов (Atom1Feed или Rss201rev2Feed) и расширить эти обратные вызовы. Это:

SyndicationFeed.root_attributes(self)
Возвращает словарь атрибутов для добавления в корневой элемент канала (feed/channel).
SyndicationFeed.add_root_elements(self, handler)
Обратный вызов для добавления элементов в корневой элемент канала (feed/channel). handler — объект XMLGenerator из встроенной библиотеки SAX Python; вы вызовете методы на нём, чтобы добавить в XML-документ в процессе.
SyndicationFeed.item_attributes(self, item)
Возвращает словарь атрибутов для добавления к каждому элементу (item/entry). Аргумент item — это словарь всех данных, переданных в SyndicationFeed.add_item().
SyndicationFeed.add_item_elements(self, handler, item)
Обратный вызов для добавления элементов к каждому элементу (item/entry). handler и item — те же, что и выше.

Предупреждение

Если вы переопределяете любой из этих методов, убедитесь, что вызываете методы суперкласса, так как они добавляют необходимые элементы для каждого формата ленты.

Например, вы можете начать реализацию генератора ленты iTunes RSS следующим образом:

Очевидно, для полной пользовательской класса ленты необходимо сделать гораздо больше работы, но приведенный выше пример должен продемонстрировать основную идею.
