5.3 Создание строк

Самый простой способ создать строку, как показано во введении, заключается в том, чтобы заключить текст в двойные или одинарные кавычки. Однако можно создать строку, не вводя текст. Функция blanks создает строку заданной длины, состоящую только из пробельных символов (ASCII-код 32).

blanks (n)

Возвращает строку из n пробелов.

Например:

blanks (10);
whos ans
     ⇒
      Attr Name        Size                     Bytes  Class
      ==== ====        ====                     =====  =====
           ans         1x10                        10  char
