Процедура установки Octave из исходного кода на системе Unix-подобной описана ниже. Компиляция на других платформах будет аналогичной. Обратите внимание, что это описание относится к выпускам Octave. Компиляция исходных кодов разработки из архива Mercurial требует дополнительных шагов, описанных в самих исходных кодах разработки.
