Калибровка вероятностей классификаторов
При выполнении классификации вы часто хотите предсказать не только метку класса, но и соответствующую вероятность. Эта вероятность дает вам некую уверенность в предсказании. Однако не все классификаторы предоставляют хорошо откалиброванные вероятности, некоторые из них чрезмерно уверены, а другие — недостаточно. Поэтому часто желательно выполнить отдельную калибровку предсказанных вероятностей в качестве постобработки. В этом примере показаны два разных метода для этой калибровки и оценивается качество возвращаемых вероятностей с помощью показателя Бриера (см. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brier_score).
Сравниваются оцененные вероятности, полученные с помощью классификатора наивного Байеса Гаусса без калибровки, с калибровкой сигмоиды и с непараметрической калибровкой методом изотонической регрессии. Можно наблюдать, что только непараметрическая модель способна обеспечить калибровку вероятностей, возвращающую вероятности, близкие к ожидаемому значению 0,5 для большей части выборок, принадлежащих к среднему кластеру с разнородными метками. Это приводит к значительному улучшению показателя Бриера.
