По умолчанию TextFieldListCell отображается как Label, когда не находится в режиме редактирования, и как TextField, когда находится в режиме редактирования. По умолчанию TextField будет растягиваться для заполнения всей ячейки списка.

TextFieldListCell

public TextFieldListCell()

Без указанного StringConverter, эта ячейка не сможет принимать ввод с TextField (поскольку она не будет знать, как преобразовать его обратно в объект домена).
